What is FirstNet Ready?

It's a designation for FirstNet certified devices

FirstNet Ready devices are certified for use on the FirstNet network, which gives first responders and those who support them dedicated coverage and capacity, plus unique benefits like always-on priority and interoperability.

It's an expansive catalog of smart and innovative devices

The FirstNet Ready device catalog includes purpose-built rugged units as well as the most popular smart devices on the market today, such as phones, tablets, laptops, watches and MiFi devices.

It gives you access to public safety’s VIP lane

With a FirstNet SIM card, a FirstNet Ready device has always-on priority across the Band 14 spectrum and all AT&T commercial LTE bands.

Band 14 serves as public safety’s VIP lane. In an emergency, this band – or lane – is locked and available only to FirstNet subscribers. Those on FirstNet never have to compete with commercial traffic, elevating their connected experience and emergency response.

That’s unique in the industry and something public safety won’t get anywhere but on the FirstNet network
